What it means to be a good role model.

WALT: Take care of the little things in our writing I believe that a good role model is someone who has good qualities which are admired and he/she is someone who I would aspire to be like when I grow up. They are somebody who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way at all time. A role model is someone who has strength and determination to get up each and every morning, and even after a lifetime of pain he/she always gives the world another chance. In today’s lesson I will be sharing to you 3 ways to be a good role model.
One way to become a good role model is by doing things without being told. For example, finishing off your homework. When you complete your homework, it leaves you with relief knowing that you don’t have to worry until next week's assignments. It also means that when you come home you have more time to yourself, and not to mention it will leave both you and your teacher satisfied at the end of the day.
Another way to be a good role model is to, treat others the way you want to be treated. I think this is very important because, if you treat someone with no respect or positivety, they will probably treat you the same way and then, a lot of anger and bad feelings will be flowing between you and that person. But, if you treat he/she as your equal, in the future, you would most probably become best friends and you both will create many great and wonderful memories together.

For my final example all good role models always have humility and willingness to admit mistakes. Nobody is perfect. When you make a bad decision, let those who are watching and learning from you know that you made a mistake and how you plan to correct it.
By apologising, accepting accountability, and correcting course, you will be demonstrating an often overlooked part at being a role model.

True role models are those who posses qualities. They choose to be who they are. Their the ones who decide whether to choose the good or bad.
